Trev and Alexis at the Worlds Fair Park pre-race.
The race was broken into a wave start because of the big turn out. Trevor was randomly given a red dot, (the last start group) while the rest of his classmates were yellow (second start group). When the announced the yellow to the start line, all of his classmates were leaving. I told him to tear off his dot and go with them!
Trevor quickly caught up with the first wave.
This picture is blurry because A) my good camera is in the shop and B) I was only getting these shots because I was running along with him. I included it anyway because it shows how hard he was running.
Here he is arriving at the stadium, running uphill.
Trevor thought it was cool getting to be on the field.
Afterwards, the school grouped together for a group shot.
The school with the most participants wins $500 towards PE equipment. Last year Bluegrass Elementary won and it looks like they won again this year.
This is from last weekend when Trevor spent the night at Jack's house and Jack's sister Olivia also had a friend spending the night. Someone forgot the rule about NOT being the first one to fall asleep at sleepovers:)

Hi Trevor! I just wanted to say congratulations on your race. That is AWSOME!!!! and you are sporting one very cool medal there! One thing my husband and I do after our races is write our times on our bibs and the date and name of the race too and keep them in a page protector in a binder so we can look back on them later. A sort of racing scrapbook. Since you're getting into running, you might like to do something similar so you can look back on all the cool races you've run! Congratulations again!!!! You ROCK!
